A U S T R A L I A
Australia, this continent with a thousand faces, has always been a dream of mine. I had the chance to spend several months there, exploring only the east coast of the country - from Sydney to the tropical north of Queensland. A region with varied landscapes, from vibrant cities to endless beaches, tropical forests, and untamed nature. It was an unforgettable adventure, rich in discoveries and freedom.

Sydney

A true favorite. It's a city that's vibrant, welcoming, and incredibly beautiful. Each neighborhood has its own charm, with modern architecture alongside vast green spaces, and above all… how lucky to have paradisiacal beaches like Bondi and Coogee just minutes from the center! The vibe is super relaxed, the people are cool, the cafés are great, and that sunset over the Harbour… unforgettable.

Gold Coast

The Gold Coast is the ultimate vacation vibe: miles of beach, perfect waves for surfing, and a laid-back atmosphere from morning to evening. You live there barefoot, with salty hair, between surf sessions, sunbathing, and strolls along the coast.

Brisbane
Brisbane may not be the most spectacular city in Australia, but it has its charm. A laid-back atmosphere, a lovely walk along the Brisbane River, and some pleasant spots like South Bank or the botanical gardens.

Noosa Heads
Noosa Heads was a real favorite! Between its stunning coastal walk in the national park and the laid-back vibe of the town center, it’s a place where you feel really good. Special mention for the Eumundi Market, a must-visit spot in the area, full of colors, local creations, and good vibes.

Fraser Island
Fraser Island, or K'gari as it's called in its indigenous language, is pure adventure! An island entirely made of sand, listed as a World Heritage site, where you drive a 4x4 through rainforests, endless beaches, and crystal-clear freshwater lakes. Lake McKenzie is simply amazing, with its turquoise water and white sand. You can also discover the spectacular wreck of the Maheno stranded on the beach, and encounter wild dingoes.

Cape Hillsborough
Cape Hillsborough is known for its unique sunrise: every morning, kangaroos and wallabies gather on the beach. While the scene seems very natural, these animals are actually attracted by food. The place remains pleasant, with a beautiful beach bordered by forest.

Airlie Beach

Airlie Beach is a small coastal town with beautiful beaches and lively streets. It is mainly known as the starting point for excursions to the stunning Whitsunday Islands.

The Great Barrier Reef
I discovered it from the air, a simply magical experience. Seen from above, its beauty is fully appreciated: turquoise waters as far as the eye can see, strange and hypnotic shapes drawn by the corals. A memory that will stay with me forever.

On the road...

Magnetic Island

Magnetic Island is a small island off the coast of Townsville, accessible by ferry. It has pretty beaches, magnificent viewpoints and... koalas in the wild!

Wallaman Falls

Located in Girringun National Park, Wallaman Falls is Australia's highest waterfall, at over 260 metres. The site is impressive, surrounded by dense nature, and it is possible to descend to the base of the waterfall by a fairly steep but magnificent hike.

Cairns

Cairns is a cool tropical town, and the ideal starting point for discovering the wonders of North Queensland. From there, we made a jaunt to Mossman Gorge, a lush patch of forest with crystal-clear water.

But above all, we spent a day at sea snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef: EXCEPTIONAL!
I was lucky enough to see stingrays, sharks, huge multicoloured fish, moray eels and coral out of a science fiction film... It was magical.

Cape Tribulation
Cape Tribulation is where the rainforest meets the ocean, literally. You get there by crossing the Daintree Forest, one of the oldest tropical forests in the world, with dense, lush vegetation. We've even seen crocodiles!
