Austria is a country with a strong cultural heritage, and I had the opportunity to explore its capital, Vienna. It's a pleasant city with beautiful palaces, museums, and traditional cafes. Perfect for a cultural getaway.
Vienna
Vienna is a city where architecture impresses on every street corner. It boasts iconic monuments like the Schönbrunn Palace, the former imperial summer residence, and the majestic St. Stephen's Cathedral in the heart of the historic center. I enjoyed strolling along the Ringstrasse, the large circular avenue that surrounds the city center and is home to beautiful buildings like the Opera House, the Parliament, and the City Hall. The Museum Quarter is also worth a visit, as is the Naschmarkt for a local snack. It's a capital on a human scale, a great place to stroll.
And for a slightly different experience, we also went to see the abandoned Prater amusement park, with a great sunset.
