The Islands

Langkawi

Langkawi

Located in northwest Malaysia, Langkawi is an archipelago renowned for its beaches, lush nature, and tax-free status. Between the breathtaking panoramas from the Sky Bridge, the mysterious mangroves of Kilim Geoforest Park, and the heavenly beaches, the island offers the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. An ideal place to discover another side of Malaysia, between sea and jungle.

Perhentian

Perhentian

Located off the east coast of Malaysia, the Perhentian Islands are a true tropical paradise. White sand, crystal-clear water, and lush jungle create this idyllic setting. There are no roads or cars here, just paths to move between the beaches and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

The underwater life is simply magical. We had the chance to swim with turtles, sharks, small rays, Napoleon wrasse, and a water snake... it was unforgettable.

  • I recommend staying on Long Beach, the beach is WOW

  • For snorkeling, I recommend the “Long Trip” (offered by all the locals on the beach), for only 50 RM.

  • To eat fresh barbecued fish, go to Coral Bay, it's much cheaper than Long Beach.

Practical information

Tioman

Tioman

Located off the east coast of Malaysia, Tioman Island is a true tropical paradise. Much less touristy than Langkawi and the Perhentian Islands, it is renowned for its white sand beaches, dense jungle, and crystal-clear waters. It offers an idyllic setting for relaxing and exploring nature. Our stay there included hikes through the forest and waterfalls, and snorkeling excursions among turtles and sharks.
