A former Portuguese, Dutch and British colony, it is full of vestiges of these colonial influences, offering a fascinating blend of European and Asian architecture. The city is also famous for its floating mosque.

Cameron Highlands

This mountainous plateau, around 1,500 metres above sea level, is famous for its verdant tea plantations, cool temperatures and magnificent scenery. 

One of the highlights is the Boh tea plantation, where you can enjoy a fresh cup of tea while admiring the panoramic view over the hills.

Taman Negara

Taman Negara

Taman Negara is one of the oldest rainforests in the world, a true sanctuary of biodiversity in Malaysia. Canopy hikes, river cruises, and cave explorations are among the memorable experiences. We were incredibly lucky to encounter wild elephants during our adventure, a magical moment.

Its national park is a true gem, offering superb hiking trails leading to secluded beaches, home to several species of monkeys. But what Penang is also famous for is its incredible cuisine! George Town, its capital, is full of legendary street food.
